During this group project of 4 weeks we were tasked to create an interactive experience, I was responsible for the post-processing, world building and 3D-modeling. So, pretty much anything visual was up for me to take care of. The game tries to visualize a possible future for the city centre. A fire destroyed part of the iconic city centre, which was replaced with modern architecture, build with greenery and a quiet living environment in mind. The player would be able to explore this world in on a 1:1 scale of the area around the church and city center.
I created the assets in Blender, created a pipeline to comfortably work together, even remotely, on a privately hosted server, put the world together in Unreal Engine 4, assisted in coding using Blueprints and took care of any visual challenges, like post-processing while other members of the group took on the responsibility of sound, story, user experience and director.
